Great Shop, nice to find a store where the owner rides in the bunch rides and doesnt try to sell you everything in the store when you pop in for a chat. Good knowlegable mechanics that arent grumpy all the time. Recommend to those living in and around auckland.

After having been financially violated by a few others, finally, in Bikelab, I've found a central bikeshop with owners manning the shop and technician's who do excellent work and don't remove your left kidney along with contents of your wallet for doing the basics. Bikelab has great group-rides every week where you can get to know customers the owners and employees and hear feedback about what they've got and what they do. If you're just starting, or a real pro, they have a range of products and services to meet your needs. Expert advice and excellent value. I recommend them unreservedly.

Bikelab is a shop which is small, but perfectly formed. The team lacks the pretentiousness which seems to pervade many bike shops, and offer a level of after-sales service you can't get from buying offshore. Their prices are pretty sharp too. I know where I will be buying my next bike from.
